Description
The barn to the west of River Coppice is a 19th-century structure built by the Duke of Norfolk, resembling the barns at Wepham (Burpham) and South Stoke. It is designed in the style of a medieval tithe barn and features two storeys with four bays, each supported by buttresses. The building is constructed of red brick and has a brick eaves cornice with cogging. The roof is tiled, and the ground floor includes four-centred open brick arches, while casement windows are located above. Due to the slope of the ground, the east side has only one storey, with a gabled section that serves as a loft entrance positioned two feet above the ground. There is also a small hipped projection at the northeast angle.
