Description

Horncroft Farmhouse is an L-shaped house likely dating to the 17th century or earlier, with subsequent additions. The east wing is a timber-framed structure with plaster infilling, and its south front has been refaced with Pulborough stone. A south wing was probably added in the mid-17th century. The house has a tiled roof with a pentice on the west side. It features a mix of casement windows and sash windows, some of which retain their original glazing bars. One window has a stone mullion. A stone and brick chimney breast is visible on the east wall. There is a small gabled dormer at the rear with a window that is now blocked. Inside, a 17th-century fireplace and overmantel remain.
