Description

The Tomb of Richard Cobden is located in the churchyard to the southwest of the church on Church Road in West Lavington. It features a marble sarcophagus set in a bed of chips, which is surrounded by a marble curb. Richard Cobden, who lived at Dunfold in the nearby parish of Heyshott, passed away on 2 April 1866.
