Description

Stone House is an 18th-century house located on the south side of Petworth High Street. It is two storeys high and has a symmetrical facade of three windows. The exterior is faced in ashlar, and the roof is hipped and tiled, with missing glazing bars in the windows. A doorway, ascended by eight steps, features fluted Ionic pilasters supporting a pediment, a semi-circular fanlight above the door and a door consisting of six fielded panels.
