Description
Bury Manor, now known as Dorset House School, is a house that dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries, originally the home of the Higgons family. It is a large double-L-shaped building, with the older sections located in the west and south wings, which are medieval and have undergone significant alterations. The structure has two storeys and an attic, featuring six windows and three dormers. The exterior is made of stone rubble and knapped flints, topped with a tiled roof. While most windows are modern casements, two of them are original. There are also larger modern additions to the northeast of the building.
