Description

Causeway Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 18th century or earlier. It is two storeys high and features two windows. The exterior is made of red brick with alternating grey headers and has a stringcourse of grey headers. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with tiles. The cottage has casement windows. To the south-east, there is an additional window-bay that was added later and was once a separate cottage. This section is faced with coursed stone, has red brick dressings and quoins, and features a slate roof.
