Description

Bridgemead is a former pair of cottages that have been converted into a single dwelling, dating from the early 19th century. The building consists of two parallel ranges and stands two storeys high with three windows across the front. It is constructed from stone rubble, partly ironstone, and features red brick dressings, quoins, and a modillion eaves cornice. The roof is tiled, and the windows are casement style. There is a central wooden porch with a scalloped gable, and a similar porch is located on the east wall, although the doorway behind it has been blocked.
