Description
The former Old Rectory coach house, located 25 meters south of the Old Rectory, was built around 1852 by William Butterfield and has undergone 20th-century alterations and additions. It features coursed and squared stonework with a steeply pitched tile roof, designed in a late medieval French chateau style. The building is single-storey with plain flanking walls and has an approximate 10-meter frontage to the Rectory. A central stair turret with a steeply pitched conical roof is linked to the main ridge, with eaves set above the rest of the structure and a lattice window to the right at this level. The rear, rebuilt in the 20th century, is two storeys high and includes an attached wing with large casements.
