Description

The village cross, located approximately 50 meters west of the school in Sheen, dates from the mid-19th century but may have a base from the 15th century. It is made of stone and features a five-tiered, stepped plinth that supports a medieval base with carved angle spurs. The shaft is square and tapered, with a chamfered section above the base leading to a small cross at the top. Additionally, there are cast iron corner posts that are remnants of former railings.
