Description
This is a range of farm buildings located approximately one metre north-west of Frost Hall Farmhouse, dating from around 1826, with a later 19th-century extension. The structure is built from tooled sandstone and features a pantile roof. It is one and a half storeys high and has a seven-bay front, with a single-bay extension to the left.
On the left side of the building, there is a segmental cart arch made of shaped tooled voussoirs, which has double board doors. To the right of the arch, there are four board stable doors, with two more to the left and a third on the extension. The original range has openings with tooled lintels, while the extension has bordered openings. The loft openings are square and have pivoting shutters. The building has stepped eaves, coped gables, and plain kneelers. On the left gable end, stone steps lead to a board loft door, with a dog kennel situated below.
