Description
Barnby House Farmhouse and the attached barn, granary, and byre date from the 18th century. They are constructed of coursed squared stone and feature a pantiled roof with stone copings and square kneelers, along with end brick chimneys. The building has a double span and is two stories high, with a three-window main front that includes a central top-glazed six-panel door and 20th-century small-paned casements. All openings have keystones. To the left, there is a lower two-story barn with a granary that has small fixed lights with glazing bars and Dutch doors behind. Attached at the back is a one-story byre and sty made from similar materials, featuring a small pentice in the angle.
