Description
Barris House, Pilgrim Cottage, and Eight Bells are a row of cottages dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed stone and feature pantiled roofs. The buildings are two storeys high, with each cottage having one wide bay. On the first floor, there are single mid-19th century sliding sash windows, while the ground floor has double hung windows arranged in pairs. The doors are modern and decorative, except for the Eight Bells, which has a flush door. These cottages are included in the listing partly for their group value in the High Barrass setting.
