Description

This farmbuilding, located approximately five metres west of Hunt House Farmhouse in Goathland, is likely from around 1756. It features herringbone tooled sandstone and a pantile roof, with a one and a half storey gable wall. There is a board door to the left of a flight of stone steps, which has a dog kennel beneath it. At the top of the steps, there is another board door, and both doors have tooled lintels. On the right side of the building, there are three troughs built into the wall, and a shuttered opening at the right end. The building is currently used as a store.
