Description

Wall End Farmhouse with an attached barn dates from around the 1630s and was renovated in 1934 and 1964. The building is constructed of white-washed stone rubble and features a slate roof. It stands two storeys high, with a slate dripstone over the ground floor. A new gabled porch has been added, and there are three windows on the ground floor and four above, featuring new casements set in old square openings. The stone rubble barn is attached to the right of the farmhouse. Inside, the farmhouse boasts large oak beams, spice cupboards, an oven, wood panelling, old studded doors, stone stairs, an open roof in an upstairs room, and a former fodder gang and byre.
