Description

Stockley Bridge is a packhorse bridge dating from the early to mid 18th century. It is constructed of slate rubble and features a narrow single-span design with a humped-back profile. The bridge has split-slate voussoirs beneath a low parapet. It is depicted in a lithograph by William Green from 1814.
