Description

Skiddaw Cottage is an early 19th-century building located on Vicarage Hill in Keswick. It is constructed of roughcast over stone and has two storeys. The entrance features a central panelled door with a rectangular fanlight above, all set within a moulded wooden doorcase with reveals. On either side of the entrance are wide segmental bays, each containing three sash windows topped with conical roofs. The upper storey has three 12-paned sash windows, also in moulded wood cases.
