Description

This is a wayside cross located approximately 25 metres north-east of West Week Farmhouse. It is probably from the 15th century, or possibly earlier. The cross is made from a single piece of granite and was once used as a gate post. It stands about 2 metres high and features a plain, roughly-finished design with one short stubby arm, as the right arm is missing. At the intersection of the arms, there is an inscribed Maltese cross set at a slight angle. An iron gate hanging has been set into the front of the cross.
