Description

This is a barn and an attached outbuilding located about 20 metres south-west of Lower Uppacott Farmhouse, likely dating from the 18th century or earlier. The structure is built from granite rubble and has roofs covered with corrugated iron, with the barn featuring a hipped roof. It is a single storey with a loft. The barn has a wide central doorway topped with an old pent-roofed hood. There is a flight of stone steps against the right-hand gable wall. All openings have been fitted with 20th-century plank doors and shutters, although some old wrought-iron hinges remain.
