Description

These gate piers, located approximately 40 metres south of Outer Down, were likely built in 1911. They are made of granite ashlar and feature square posts with a chamfered plinth and a soffit-chamfered cap. Each post is topped with a granite ball on a pedestal. In front of the gate piers, granite ashlar rubble quadrant walls extend forward, topped with a rustic castellated design.
