Description

This is an anonymous chest tomb located approximately 2 metres south of the aisle of the Church of Holy Trinity. It is probably from the 18th century and constructed from granite ashlar. The tomb has a rectangular shape with plain walls made of coursed blocks of ashlar. The thick flat lid is made from a single slab of granite and features a gentle hollow-chamfered underside. Any inscription that may have been on the lid has worn away over time.
