Description

The Snell headstone, located approximately 1.5 metres east of the chancel of the Church of Holy Trinity, is a Grade II listed structure dated 1727 in memory of John Snell. This headstone is made of slate and features an upright slab that stands about 800mm high, topped with a shaped head. The front of the headstone is inscribed with Roman upper and lower case lettering, commemorating the death of John Snell in 1727.
