Description

The Congregational Tabernacle is a building dating from the 18th to 19th century, located on Tabernacle Walk in Rodborough. It features an ashlar front with an entrance that has Tuscan columns in antis. There are projecting one-storey wings on either side, each with one blocked window. The central section has a Venetian window. The side elevations are two storeys high and contain seven windows, which are double-hung sash with glazing bars. The first-floor windows have semi-circular heads, while the ground-floor windows have cambered heads, all adorned with keystones. The Congregational Tabernacle is part of a group that includes The Manse and Tabernacle Cottage on Tabernacle Pitch.
