Description

The Stroud Subscription Rooms, built in 1833, were designed by architect Charles Baker of Painswick. This two-storey stone building features five windows, with the central section slightly projecting and containing three windows with semi-circular heads. It is adorned with a modillion cornice and a pediment. The entrance includes a porte cochere supported by Tuscan columns and has a balustraded balcony above.
