Description

Riverside is a pair of cottages, now combined into a single dwelling, dating to the 17th and 18th centuries. The construction is of coursed rubble with stone slate roofs, featuring two ashlar end chimneys with moulded capping. The left-hand section is two storeys high with two windows, featuring a three-light mullion window (the original ground floor window on the left). The right-hand section is lower, with a gabled front and one-and-a-half storeys. It has two windows; the upper floor features a 19th-century two-light mullioned casement with drips, while the ground floor has a circa 1700 three-light mullioned window also with drips. A 20th-century doorway is located to the left of the ground floor window, featuring a bracketed flat hood.
