Description
The barn at Caudle Green Farm is an 18th-century structure that features a cartshed underneath. It is built from coursed and squared limestone with ashlar quoins. The main doorway has a timber lintel, and there is a timber outshut. The roof, added in the 20th century, is covered with shingles. The barn consists of six bays and has a projecting gabled porch. The west end includes a cartshed at a lower level that extends back three bays. Above the main doorway, there is a small recessed leaded light window. The cartshed has an arched opening, and there are narrow ventilation slits in the gable end of the barn. Inside, the barn features a timber boarded floor and a roof supported by coupled rafters and purlins.
