Description
The kitchen garden walls, located approximately 150 metres north-east of Fuidge Manor, date from the late 18th century to early 19th century. They are constructed of English bond brick with slate coping. The large former kitchen garden of Fuidge Manor is situated on a south-west facing slope that looks towards the house and is connected to it by an avenue of lime trees. The garden is enclosed by a tall brick wall on three sides, while the valley bottom side remains open. The walls on either side rise up the slope with a series of ramps. The back wall, which runs across the slope, features a serpentine design, making it a rare example in the south-western region.
