Description

This wellhouse or pigsty, located approximately 13 metres south of Woodcott, is likely from the late 18th century or 19th century. It is constructed from local limestone and slate rubble, featuring a pyramidal scantle roof. The building is small and square in plan, consisting of a single cell with a doorway on the north side. It is a single-storey structure with no openings in the walls, except for the doorway on the left side of the north elevation, which has a 20th-century plank door. The roof is heavily overgrown with ivy.
