Description

This is an earlier 18th-century building that was refaced in the early 19th century. It is a two-story building with one window. The roof is hipped and covered with Welsh slate, featuring an old masonry stack that has been heightened and rendered. The front of the building is timber-framed, with the first floor clad in slate and the ground floor plastered. A return wall of Devonian random limestone rubble is visible on North Street, with two small casement windows having timber lintels. The Castle Street façade has recessed mullioned windows with glazing bars. A recessed doorway is present, featuring a modern cornice and a 'Tudor-Gothic' style door.
