Description
This is a range of farm buildings that adjoins East Butterleigh House and forms the eastern side of the farmstead. The buildings date from the early 19th century and are constructed of cob with a stone plinth, roughcast finish, and a gabled-end slate roof.
On the right-hand (east) end of the house, there is a two-storey wagon entrance. The main range of farm buildings extends to form the eastern boundary of the farmstead. The first floor features two pointed two-light windows with Y-tracery and internal shutters, while there is another glazed window on the ground floor. Access to the hay loft is above, and below are wagon entrances along with two barred casement windows. The rear of the building has buttressing and an extension that includes brick and stone patching.
Additionally, the listing includes the contemporary wrought-iron gates and two rusticated stone piers that form the entrance to the farmstead.
