Description
Pitfield Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century, is constructed of stone rubble with a stuccoed front and features a thatched roof with stone coping at the gable ends. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. It has modern casement windows set in original openings that include keystones. A central modern glazed door is sheltered by a thatched porch. At the rear, there is a catslide roof, and a lean-to is located at the west end. Additionally, there is a cattle shed range that adjoins at right angles to the rear, also featuring a thatched roof and an open front facing the yard and cartway.
