Description

The gate posts located approximately 130 metres north-east of Farringdon House date from around 1900. They are made of rock-faced red sandstone and feature moulded concrete coping. The main gateway is flanked by tall square-section gate posts that have soffit-moulded coping and ogee-moulded caps. On either side, there are smaller gate posts connected by a low wall, and beyond these piers, the wall curves outward to similar terminal piers.
