Description
Woodhouse is a country house dating to circa 1879, designed by Sir Ernest George and Peto and situated within landscaped gardens. The house is constructed with a stone ground floor, tile hanging above, and timber framing to the gables, all topped with a gabled tiled roof. It is two storeys high with an attic. The entrance front features a three-storeyed tile-hung porch supported by carved posts, with a gable above. To the right are two timber-framed gables with decorated stucco panels. The side facade presents two gables, with timber framing above and tile hanging below, overhanging two oval bay windows. The garden front incorporates two gables and a half-octagonal bay window with a lead roof on the ground floor. Casement windows with glazing bars are a feature throughout.
