Description

Bradenstoke Abbey Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1780, located on the north side of Lyneham Bradenstoke. It is constructed from limestone rubble and features a quarter hipped slate roof with dormers at both the front and rear. The building consists of five bays, with a one-bay front extension and an entrance porch. The windows are 19th century, with six and four-pane sash designs. The left gable incorporates reset stonework from Bradenstoke Priory, including a reset head of a wave moulded door and a 16th century two-light window with a hollow chamfer and blind spandrels, all set within a hollow chamfered frame. The farmhouse is listed due to its association with Bradenstoke Priory and the reused stonework.
