Beanfield is a detached house dating from the 17th century, with later additions and alterations. It features colourwashed render and a steeply gabled stone tiled roof with end stacks; the northern stack is made of stone with a moulded cap, while the southern stack has a stone base and a brick cap. The house is two stories high and has a four-window east front. All windows are 2-light, 6-pane casements set in deep reveals. There is a 19th-century gabled stone tiled porch located off centre to the left, which has a part glazed 20th-century door. To the right, there is a garage extension.
