Description
Three houses dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, built of rubble stone with a stone slate roof and two ridge stacks. They are two storeys and have an attic, arranged in an L-shape. The houses have flush quoins. The rightmost house (No. 7) features recessed windows with chamfered mullions: a 3-light and a 2-light window on the first floor, and a 2-light window with a hoodmould on the ground floor to the right, with a 3-light window with a hoodmould and ovolo moulding on the ground floor to the left. Paired 2-light, ovolo-moulded windows with a hoodmould are visible on the south end wall, at ground floor level. The house to the left (No. 8) has ovolo-moulded windows: two 3-light and one 2-light windows on the first floor, and two 3-light windows with hoodmoulds, along with a door within a moulded surround with a hoodmould, on the ground floor. The north end has a blocked 2-light attic window and a blocked ground floor single light. A rear wing to the north-east, belonging to No. 9, dates to the 18th century and has flush, cyma moulded 2-light windows with hoodmoulds, one positioned above and two below what was originally a blocked doorway, and a later door.
