Description
This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 11 metres south-south-east of the chancel at the southeast angle of the Church of St. Mary. It dates from the later 18th century and is made of ashlar stone. The tomb features a large oval plaque on the south side, flanked by bars, and has four fielded spandrel panels. On the north side, there are two ovals, each adorned with a cherub head in the centre above a floral drop. The tomb is supported by baluster corners and has a moulded base and capstone.
