Description
The coach-house stables to Kingrove Farmhouse date from the 19th century. They are constructed from rubble with an iron roof featuring coped verges and saddlestones. The building has two storeys and includes a central dormer with a loft opening.
At the west end of the barn, which is closest to the house, there are gate piers and walls made of coursed, squared limestone rubble topped with Pennant coping. The piers are made of ashlar and have squat pyramidal caps. There are also cast-iron railings and gates.
In front of the yard at the east end of the barn, there are coursed, squared rubble quadrants and rubble piers with ashlar quoins, which are topped with ball finials. Cast-iron railings are positioned between the piers.
