Description

A pair of houses, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. Number 97 is rendered, while number 99 is rubble construction, originally rendered. Both have pantiled roofs hidden behind coped parapets, and brick stacks. Each house has two storeys and originally three bays, with a later 19th-century one-bay extension to the left of number 97. The windows are glazing bar sash windows, and the brick surrounds to number 99 are exposed. The central doors are six-panel doors, each topped with a fanlight. Number 97 features a cast iron openwork porch with a canopy, while number 99 has a doorcase consisting of pilasters and a broken pediment.
