Description

Joys Cottage and Wyvern Cottage are a pair of 18th-century cottages located on the east side of North Street, Winterborne Stickland. They are rendered and whitewashed with a half-hipped thatched roof and brick stacks at each end. The cottages are two storeys high with an irregular five-window range. Joys Cottage has two-light cast-iron casement windows with glazing bars, while Wyvern Cottage has two- and three-light wrought-iron casement windows with leaded-light. The entrances have been moved to the rear of the properties.
