Description

This is a mid-19th century cottage, originally part of Home Farm. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a pitched slate roof and coped gables. A red brick stack is also present. The cottage is two storeys high. It features three ranges of three-light stone-mullioned casement windows, each with a hood mould. The front entrance has a six-panelled door topped with an oblong fanlight, sheltered by a stone porch with a hood. Home Farm Cottage has stone mullioned windows, alongside one casement window with diagonal glazing bars on the south side and two more on the north side. A single-storey extension projects from the north side.
