Description
166 and 168 North Allington are late 18th-century buildings constructed of red brick with a pitched slate roof and a red-brick stack. They are two storeys high and feature three casement windows with glazing bars on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is one 19th-century canted bay window and one sash window with glazing bars. The two doors have blind semi-circular fanlights, with the door for No 166 featuring two round-headed moulded panels. To the north, there is a one-storey coach house extension made of red brick with a hammer-dressed plinth, a pitched slate roof, and planked double doors. No 168 has a one-storey mid-19th-century shop extension with a canted shop window. Nos 166 to 200 (even) form a group.
