Description

Higher Farmhouse is a house, probably built in the early 19th century. It features rubble walls, a gabled tiled roof, and brick stacks at each end. The building consists of two parallel ranges and has two storeys. There are various two-light casement windows, some of which have either full or horizontal glazing bars, with some openings set under segmental stone heads. A 19th-century latticed porch with a sundial above adds to its character. There is a later extension on the left side of the farmhouse.
