Description

The Old Malthouse is a late 18th-century building, with a scratched date of 1767, that has been converted from three cottages and a malting house into a single dwelling. It features a combination of banded brick and flint with brick dressings, topped by a thatched roof with brick stacks on the right and in the center. The structure is two stories high and has a four-window range. The windows are adorned with brick soldier courses and a cogged brick eaves course. The upper floor windows are wrought-iron casements with leaded lights, while the ground floor windows have horizontal glazing bars. A 20th-century garage door is located on the left, with a part-glazed door in the next bay and another door to the right of the range.
