Description

The Old Rectory is a rectory dating from 1685, with extensions added in 1768 and the mid-19th century. Constructed of banded flint and brick, it has slated and tiled roofs and brick stacks in several locations. The building is arranged in an L-shape and has two storeys and attics, with a four-window front. It likely originally featured two-light casements with leaded-lights. A 19th-century stone porch with a pedimented Doric design fronts the road, containing a panelled door set within a gable. A plat band runs along the first floor, above which is a carved coat of arms bearing a date.
