Description

No. 6 Salisbury Street is a building from after 1731, featuring three stories with a mathematical tiled front. It has a moulded eaves cornice and casement windows with wide glazing bars on the second floor. The first floor has small sash windows with rusticated heads and altered glazing bars. There is an insurance plaque visible on the building. At the first floor level, there is a tiled penthouse with a coved soffit. The ground floor includes two bowed shop windows with dentil cornices and glazing bars. To the left side, there is a six-panelled house door. Inside, there is a staircase and a fireplace in the first-floor room. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 2 to 24 (even).
