Description

This early 19th-century building comprises a boathouse, formerly known as Warrens, a tours office, and a customs house, situated on the wharf. The ground floor is constructed of granite ashlar, while the first floor is painted brick with granite quoins. It is two storeys high and has two windows, with a gable facing the road. The ground floor includes double doors leading to the boathouse and a deeply recessed, small 20th-century shop. On the first floor are two square “baby” windows, a central flagstaff, and a coat of arms. The roof is half-hipped and covered in slate.
