No. 33 on Fore Street is an early 19th-century building constructed of painted brick with granite quoins and a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features two sash windows without glazing bars, each with granite keyblocks and sills. The building has overhanging eaves and includes an incongruous large modern shop passageway with a keyblock. This property is part of a group with Nos. 27 to 33 (odd), which share historical and architectural significance.
