Description

The cross located by the south-west corner of the porch of the Church of Saint Towennac in Towednack is a medieval structure made of eroded granite and consists of two pieces. It is a Latin cross with a truncated top, set on a tapered shaft that features carved corners. It is likely that the shaft is not originally a cross shaft but may instead be part of a pinnacle from the church.
