Description

The listed buildings comprise numbers 1 and 2 Mount Street in Mevagissey. These are early 19th-century cottages constructed of rubble with brick dressings. The cottages are two storeys high and feature five windows each. The windows originally had sash glazing bars but most have been replaced with modern casements. Modern glazed doors are present. The roof is slate-covered. A diagonally jettied end connects the cottages to number 16 Cliff Street, creating an archway. The buildings are included on the list for their group value, as all listed buildings along Mount Street form a cohesive group.
