Description

These are 18th and 19th century cottages built on a rock foundation at the edge of the harbour. They are constructed of painted stone rubble, with the upper stages incorporating painted brick. The cottages are two storeys high, with a basement level. They have three widely spaced windows, featuring sashes and casements, without glazing bars. A wide basement entrance provides access from the beach. The rear entrances are accessed via panelled doors. The roof is slate, with both hipped and gable ends.
